Venezia

Last Sunday I went to Venice to meet another American friend who was here in vacation.
The day was wonderful, sunny but not hot.
We visited the Doge's Palace and the prisons, going through the famous Bridge of Sighs.

l'albergo dove stava la mia amica metteva a disposizione una barca per arrivare in Piazza San Marco, quindi giretto in laguna!

the hotel where my friend was staying gave us a complimentary boat ride to St. Mark's Square!

Roma

I am never tired of traveling...
This time I had a good excuse, one of my friends from the Washington Book Club (who now works in Moscow) was in Rome for a visit... We then meet to visit the city together and catch up with our lives.
I ate a lot of pasta, walked a lot (so I worked off all the pasta calories), visited the city.
Here some of the picture.
The weather was wonderful.

Last weekend I went to Piemonte (North-West of Italy), I visited some really beautiful places.
Today I want to post some pictures of Vernante, the town of Pinocchio.
On the walls of almost all the houses of the town there are murales with rappresentation of the Pinocchio tale. Because one of the illustrator of Collodi's book was living for a while there.
Here some Pinocchio...

I have to confess that lately I didn't do a lot of nail art, most often I am wearing just plain nail polish, but here a little update on some of my recent nail arts...
I hope to do more of it, to begin with today I am using my friend Sonia as test subject.

Onyx Translator

The medal I never really thought I could reach, mainly because my really high level of laziness in learning the glyphs!
Instead here I am, after beginning to seriously learn and hack with glyphs last October.
Thanks to my farm friends and to those who taught me how to memorize the names from the start (without have to use weird names...).
