La giornata era splendida, sole ma non troppo caldo.

Last Sunday I went to Venice to meet another American friend who was here in vacation.
The day was wonderful, sunny but not hot.
We visited the Doge's Palace and the prisons, going through the famous Bridge of Sighs.

the hotel where my friend was staying gave us a complimentary boat ride to St. Mark's Square!
